This one's for you Grandma Carla

Sorry for the lack of updates, it's been a busy few (more like several) months at the Maynard household! Between summer fun, birthdays, mom graduating nursing school, mom & dad getting married, starting my second year of preschool and lots of other good stuff, there hasn't been any time left for blogging. Here's a preview of what I've been up to, more updates coming soon (for those who still read this) : )

Fishies

Every time we drive by the "quarium" I ask Mom if we can go see Nemo...so, she took me & Krew to see the fishies again. I thought the penguins were hilarious when they jumped in and out of the water and swam really fast! Krew & I both thought the jellyfish were pretty cool too.

I like to dress her up, read stories to her, cuddle with her, and chase her around the house : )

One of my favorite things to do with my Mommy & Daddy is go to Jazz games!

Christmas 2010

Christmas was a three day event again this year. We have so much family that we have to celebrate with some of them early just so we can see them all! On the 23rd of December we celebrated at my Grandpa Kent's house. I got these kitties that I was super excited about!

On Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Kathy's house to celebrate. I got a dora the explorer book, a princess book set, a candyland game and some other fun stuff. As much as I loved all of these toys, my favorite entertainment of the night was this box that I played in with Mya & Avery...

We headed over to Grandma Carla's house later that night for more family fun & of course, more presents! I got a ladybug pillow pet that I really wanted. Then we went home, read a couple Christmas stories, and I went to bed so santa could come!

When I woke up on Christmas morning I was excited to see that Santa came to my house! The first thing I saw was my princess castle and right next to it was my shopping cart that I had asked Santa for. Of course my shopping cart immediately went into my princess castle, followed by every other present I opened after that.

We spent most of the day relaxing at home and went over to Grandma Mindi's for a little while to wish them a merry christmas. I got another pillow pet, this time a bumble bee which I loved, along with more stuffed kitties & puppies.


I finished off the day with a Christmas cupcake...it was the perfect end to a perfect day : )
