I <3 camping

Dad & Mom took me camping up at Mirror Lake a few weeks ago. I had a great time and absolutely loved being in the mountains!

Grandma Mindi & Grandpa Jeff got me some sweet new wheels for my birthday. I love to go on walks every night in my new wagon!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went boating up at Pineview and stayed in a condo on the lake overnight. I loved riding on the boat and also went for a fun tube ride with my mom, Aunt Beth & Krew. I missed out on the fireworks though, I was too sleepy from all the fun in the sun!

We went to California the last weekend in June over my birthday. We stayed in Newport Beach but Daddy's family stayed in Laguna Beach so we spent a lot of time there. Daddy's cousin Josh got married on Laguna Beach, it was beautiful. I had lots of fun playing with all my cousins, aunts, uncle, grandmas, grandpas and everyone else! I wasn't too sure about the ocean though, the water was way too cold for me.

Party time

I got to have two celebrations for my first birthday! I was in California on my birthday with Mom, Dad, & Daddy's family so Grandma Mindi got me a cake and we had a little party at the hotel. When we got back home we had a party at the park with the rest of our family & friends. It was a fun birthday and I got lots of great presents...thanks everyone!

My FIRST Birthday!!!

It's hard to believe I am a big ONE year old already! I turned one on June 29th but haven't gotten around to blogging because I've been too busy vacationing on the beach & partying but I'll tell you more about that later. The first year of my life has been amazing : ) I have been spoiled since day one by Mom, Dad and all of my many Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and everyone else that loves me! Mommy & Daddy tell me I'm the best thing that ever happened to them. They fell in love with me the minute they saw me and and I bring so much happiness to them each & everyday! I adore them too, I just love to smother them with kisses & loves.

Here's a look back at the first year of my life...


















Some of my favorite things now are: Eating! I love to eat if you can't tell. My favorite foods are cheese and ice cream. I am learning how to sign and I am doing new signs all the time! So far I can sign eat/food (this one's my favorite), more, mom, dad, dog, water, cold (this one makes me laugh!), shoe, milk, and cheese. I'm also starting to talk and can say mama, dada, baby, ball, duck, car, water (wa-wa), and bye. I am always waving at everyone and I make friends everywhere I go. I also love to clap my hands, give & blow kisses and play patty cake! I LOVE my care bears (I call them my babies) and cuddle, kiss & hug them all the time. Mommy & Daddy usually wake up in the morning to find me playing & talking quietly in my crib with all my care bears and stuffed animals. I am fascinated by pretty much all animals especially dogs, cats, & birds. My favorite thing to do is chase the kitty around the house. I can't quite walk on my own yet but I am getting close...watch out Mom & Dad (and Kitters)!
